Jeannette Dyson Moore Born in Huntsville, AL, and a resident of Mobile, AL, most of her life, died at a local hospital January 5, 2010, at the age of 43.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Dyson. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Moore; her mother, Elizabeth Deese (Richard) Britton; her step-mother, Sandi Gaba Dyson; her sisters, Shelly Dyson Godwin and Kelly Dyson (Eric) Crooker; her mother-in-law, Ann Moore (John) Jordan; her grandmother, Vivian Kirk; numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. She also leaves her beloved cats, Missy and Murphy.

She was a graduate of Fairhope High School and attended Livingston University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of South Alabama where she focused on working with Alzheimer patients through music therapy. In recent years she served as a caregiver for an Alzheimer patient. She was a member of Forest Hill United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and played the flute. She was also a trained Stephen Minister and a leader of Disciple Bible Study.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 7, 2010, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street. A celebration of life service will be held from Forest Hill United Methodist Church on Friday, January 8, 2010, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery. The family expresses heartfelt thanks to the CCU nurses of 6 West as well as all other doctors and caregivers in Intensive Care Units at Providence Hospital.
