George Reeder and his family moved to Pike Co., IL where his oldest son, Thomas Reeder, resided. There George died within about three weeks of their arrival. The children, other than Thomas, returned to Putnam Co., IN.
Jane Reeder was a member of the New Providence Church in Putnam Co., IN. According to a family member, she was the first adult buried in New Providence Cemetery. No headstone has been located.
