Westport, July 5. William Armstrong Perry, 61, writer of juvenile fiction and scientific articles, died suddenly today at his home here, after he suffered a heart attack. His widow, Montanye Perry, a fiction writer, survives. In the spring of 1937, Perry was a member of a group which crashed in a Venezuelan jungle, two of the party of nine being killed. The others were rescued after a harrowing period in the jungle, and Perry was ordered home for a complete rest.
