MAQUOKETA, Iowa -- Molly Wallace Miller, 49, of Maquoketa, died Sunday morning, Jan. 3, 2010, at her home in Maquoketa.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Maquoketa. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Carson & Son Funeral and Cremation Services, Maquoketa, where the rosary will be recited at 3:45 p.m. by the Catholic Daughters.

She was born on May 11, 1960, in Maquoketa, daughter of Allan "Ike" and Pauline F. Wallace. She was a 1978 graduate of Maquoketa Community High School and a 1984 graduate of Scott Community College with an associate's degree in business computer programming.

She married Danny Miller on July 7, 2007, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Maquoketa.

Molly worked at Crescent Electric Supply Co. in East Dubuque, Ill., as a systems analyst for 22 years, until retiring due to illness.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of the Americas and St. Raphael Court 1156. She was a volunteer supporter for the American Cancer Society Jackson County Relay for Life.

Molly enjoyed traveling, reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are her husband, Danny Miller, of Maquoketa; two stepdaughters, Melissa (Dan) Davis, of Monmouth, and Kaitlyn Wallace, of Salem, Ore.; three stepgrandchildren, Carley, Gavin and Madison; brothers, Bob Wallace, of Kilkenny, Minn., Jon (Anne) Wallace, of Verona, Wis., and Allan (Julie) Wallace, of Elk River, Minn.; sisters, Bonnie (Craig) Bigelow, of McHenry, Ill., and Adrienne (Jonathon) Morrison, of Parkland, Fla.; her mother and father-in-law, LaVonne and Glenn Miller, of Maquoketa; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a stepdaughter, Ashley Miller.
