Terry's lived at 239 Prince George Street, Annapolis, Maryland, a beautiful two-story house. After her husband's death, she made frequent and increasingly lengthy trips to Germany as her health began to fail her. In May of 1900 she moved to Dresden, Germany, permanently where she died 2 August 1906. On the early trips, Philip B. Cooper was like a son to his Aunt Marion traveled abroad with her.

Died childless.
