Funeral services for William Edgar Adams, 71, of 711 Dixon, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday from Ed Brown & Sons Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Jack Ellzey, pastor of the Phillips United Methodist Church, officiating.

Graveside rites will be under the auspices of the Isom Masonic Lodge 1242 AF and AM. All masons are urged to meet at the Masonic Hall on Grand Avenue at 1 p.m. Thursday to participate in the services.

Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

Adams died at 8:10 p.m. Monday at North Plains Hospital.

He was a resident of the Borger area for 22 years and was a retired Phillips High School teacher.

Survivors are his wife, one daughter, two brothers, two sisters an dthree [sic] grandchildren.

Casketbearers will be Ray Miller, W.A. Haren, Carl Gwin, Jim Shuttleswofth, Ray Hatley and Doug Adkins.
