Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Directors, 523 S. Main St., Grapevine. Interment: Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Lt. Col. Adams was born May 16, 1940, in Canadian to Walter and Agnes Adams. He loved pets especially his cats. Charles volunteered at Baylor Grapevine Hospital, Dallas-Fort Worth Airport and with Furever Friends. He enjoyed building birdhouses, coin and stamp collecting and genealogy. Charles had a wonderful sense of humor.
Survivors: Wife, Katrina In-Suk Adams of Keller; children, Carla McKelvey and husband, Mark, of Coos Bay, Ore., Jeff Adams and wife, Andrea, of Ashland, Ore., Laurie Comstock and husband, Jamie, of Abilene and Bryan Adams and wife, April, of Nashville, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; mother, Agnes Adams of Canadian; sisters, Linda Fox and Denise Adams of Keller and Diane Norris and husband, Jerel, of Canadian; brother, Wade Adams and wife, Mert, of Houston; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
