Anna Brock Norman, 83, of Kensett, Arkansas and formerly of Beebe, died December 28, 2009. Anna had been living recently in Forrest City where she died Monday, and attended Bethel Baptist Church there.
Anna was retired from Kellwood Manufacturing Co. She was born May 31, 1926 in Arnold, Kansas to Joseph and Stella Pantel.
She is survived by two sons, James and Danny (Loretta) Brock of Beebe; three daughters, Laverne Askins of Beebe, Shirley Johnson (Charles) of Lonoke; Patsy (Carroll) Taylor of Forrest City; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Amata O/P of Great Bend, Kansas and Betty Lou Evans of Denver, Colorado; and one brother, Earnest Pantel of Palisade, Colorado. Anna was preceded in death by her husbands, Sanford Martin Brock and Alfred Norman; three brothers; two sisters; and two grandsons, Denver Taylor and Johnny Brock.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Beebe Cemetery.
