John T Breshears, 73, of 1422 Denver Avenue,. died Tuesday at Truman Medical Center. He was born in Warsaw, MO, and had lived in Kansas city for 30 years. He was a gardener for Stilley's Greenhouse in Raytown for 30 years before he retired in 1972. He leaves a son, Ivan Breshears, Kansas City; five daughters; Mrs. Thelma Smith, Rich Hill, MO; Mrs. Lucille Bales, Wilmington, CA; Mrs. Irene Carnahan and Miss Elsie Martin of Lee's Summit and Mrs. Donna Robinson, Independence; a brother, Charles Breshears, Tacoma, WA; two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Osborn, Wheatland, MO, and Mrs. Osa Rash, Colton, CA; 33 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. Services will be at 10 am Saturday at the Ott & Mitchell Chapel; burial in Mount Washington Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 PM Friday at the chapel.
