Miss Irma Willis died Tuesday (November 20, 2001) at Satilla Regional Medical Center following a short illness.

She was a native of Omega but had resided most of her life in Waycross. Her parents were the late Dr. Irvin Willis and Mary Spinks Willis.

She retired in 1979 from the Okefenokee Regional Library and was a member of First Baptist Church.

The survivors include two sisters, Naomi Nessmith and Evelyn W. Shaw both of Waycross; a niece, Mary Irvin Paz (husband Larry) of Waleska; a nephew, Gordon Nessmith (wife Linda) of Blackshear; two great nieces, Cindy Davies (husband Tom) and Lisa Alnick.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday in Oakridge Cemetery in Tifton. The family will be receiving friends at Music Funeral Home Thursday from 4 until 5 o'clock.
