Helen Smith died at McCray Hospital. She was born in Green Twp Nov. 23, 1907, the daughter of Milo and Abby (Ott) Gaff. She married Fred Smith Oct. 15, 1927 at the EUB Church in Albion. He died August 1. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. David (Mary Lou) Boyd and Gloria J. Smith, Albion; four brothers, Fred, La Vale, Md., Woodward, LaOtto, Laurel, Churubusco, and Robert, Albion; one sister, Mrs. Harry (Pauline) Tucker, Albion; and one granddaughter. One brother preceded her in death. Burial, Sparta Cemetery
