Mary Schlotterback 82, of Avilla, died June 25, 2005. She was born December 7, 1922 in Allen Twp, Noble County to Emmett David and Maude Ella (Kresse) Shultz. She lived in Avilla since 1959. Surviving are her children, Ronald (Gwenne) Harding of Avilla, Terry (JoAnn) Harding of Fort Wayne, Vickie (Todd) Fiandt of Garrett, Kent Harding; 2 stepdaughters; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald J. "Andy" Schlotterback on March 8, 1993; one brother, Wallace Shultz; and one sister, Matzene Frehse. She was employed at Stanadyne Industries in Garrett and retired in 1985 after 18.5 years of service.
