LOUISE "WEESIE" O. GALLOWAY, 71, of Garrett, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Born April 16, 1932, she was the daughter Everett M. and Myrtle Owen Vance.

She married Lester J. Galloway, Jan. 9, 1953, in Warsaw, and was a homemaker.

She lived in Tavares, Fla. the last 15 years, before moving back to Garrett in August.

Her great-grandchildren, Ashlee and Blake were "The light of her life."

Surviving in addition to her husband Lester, are sons, Michael and wife, Lynn Jacobs of Garrett, Kenneth and Dana Galloway of Quincy, Calif.; stepmother, Clara Vance of Ligonier; brother, Leon Vance of Ligonier; sister, Donna and husband, Lee Holm of Naples, Fla.; grandchildren, Shane and Julie Jacobs, Chad and Courtney Jacobs, Courtney Jacobs, Brittney Jacobs, all of Garrett, Chalise Galloway, Chyanne Galloway, Cheyla Galloway, all of Quincy, Calif.; great-grandchildren, Ashlee and Blake Jacobs, both of Garrett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Gwendolyn Galloway.

Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday at Thomas Funeral Home, Garrett, with Pastor Jeffrey Horn officiating.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial at Sparta Cemetery, Kimmell.
