Julia Lee Reynolds Bradley, age 81, of Waxahachie, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at her home. She was born May 11, 1925 in Dallas, Texas to William Russell and Frances (Campbell) Reynolds. She married Joseph Parker Bradley, Jr. on September 17, 1943 in Rockport, Texas. Julia had been a member of the Tyler Street Methodist Church for 35 years, where she served as the Music and Youth Secretary. Along with her husband, she owned and operated her father?s former business, Cliff Automotive Service in Dallas for 37 years. Julia was currently a member of the Central Baptist Church in Italy. Julia was an avid reader and loved her family dearly. She was a spiritual mentor to many throughout the years.
She is survived by three daughters, Charlotte Bishop and her husband, Raymond Clipper of Kennedale, Judy Farmer and her husband, Don of Mesquite and Becky Kovach of Haltom City, TX; 7 grandchildren, Jan, Amy, Dave, Rusty, Angela, Jonah and Peter and 6 great grandchildren. Julia was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Joe Bradley on February 8, 2007; her son, Rusty Bradley in 1971; grandson, Charley Farmer in 1999; son-in-law, Joe Kovach in 2003.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10AM Saturday, March 31, 2007 at the Central Baptist Church in Italy with Reverend John Sursa and Reverend Jeff Bankhead officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas.
