Katherine was the daughter of Andrew J. Johnston & Elizabeth Kilby. She first married Henry Weimer in Tennessee and after his death then she married Clarence Raymond Jones in Ohio. She was never blessed with any children. She worked as a nurse at Veterans Administration hospitals in Little Rock, Arkansas, Johnson City, Tennessee and Dayton, Ohio.
