George Bond(s) was born in Marsh Creek, Whitley Co., Kentucky.

He served during the Civil War with Co. C, 13th Kansas Infantry.

George's first wife was Martha, last name Unk. They are listed on the 1860 Census of Marion Co., AL, Western Dist in HH # 508-522. Listed with George and Martha were three of their five children. They were Georgia A., Permelia and Willliam T. Bond. Two more children were born, after this census was done; they were James A. and George N. Bond.

George's second marriage was to Plina Jane McGlassen/Cook on May 6, 1872 in Pope Co, AR. Their children were: Marion Francis, Florence E., Annie Belle, and John Fletcher Bond(s).

George remarried to Mrs. Mary Frances (Christian) Walker, widow of Buckner Walker, Jr., on Nov 5, 1890 in Muskogee, Muskogee Co., OK. They had one child, Frances Elizabeth "Fannie" Bond(s) who was born on May 9, 1893 at IT, Cherokee Nation.
