Funeral services for Nancy Shipp, 69, will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Community Church in St. Paul. Rev. Kurt Marquardt will officiate. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery with arrangements by the Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
A long-time resident of the St. Paul area, the deceased is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Jones. She was born February 4, 1880, in Kentucky. She is the widow of Carter Shipp who died in 1935. Mrs. Shipp passed away at her home on the Whitmore Mountain on Hwy. 23 north of St. Paul at 3 p.m. Jan 9, 1950.
Survivors are two sons, Ray Shipp and Arthur Ship both of St. Paul; two daughters, Mrs. Grace Rich of Stilwell, Okla., and Mrs. Bonnie Patrick of Ozark, Ark.; seven grandchildren.
