George Dale Parnell, age 66, of Avalon, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. He was born July 30, 1941, in Albany, Texas, to Leonard Owen and Vallie Christine (Jones) Parnell.
Survivors include his wife, Deloris Parnell of Avalon; two daughters, Laura Rehonic and her husband, Victor of Waxahachie and Cindy Wolters and her husband, Dave of Grand Prairie; one son, Jack Parnell and his wife, Cynthia of Red Oak; grandchildren, Olivia, Calvin, Clayton, Savannah and Gavin; brother, J. K. Parnell and his wife, Elinor of Arlington and one sister, Sandra Carnes and her husband, Leon. George was preceded in death by his parents. Interment was at the Hughes Cemetery in Avalon, Texas
