The funeral service for Milton Brooks, 71, of RR 1 Severn Bridge was held recently at the Doolittle Funeral Home, Rev. McDougall of Severn Bridge was in charge. Pallbearers were Tom, Danny, Leo, Carl, Ross and Wayne Brooks all nephews of the deceased. Interment was at the Orillia Cemetery.
Born at Cooper's Falls on January 5, 1900, he was the son of Tom Brooks and Julia Cooper. He lived at Rathburn for about 25 years before moving to the Orillia area. He married Christina Lewis on September 9, 1923 at Parry Sound. they lived at Ardbeg, near Parry Sound for six years following their marriage.
