Mr. Thornburg is survived by his daughter, and his granddaughter, all of Trussville, Alabama.
He is also survived by three sisters.
Pallbearers will be Tom Tolbert, Mike Feltman, Bill Jones, Wayne Fortenberry, Way Frost and Roy Harris.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 11, 1999, at 2:00 p.m. from Hullett's Chapel Methodist Church near Springville, Alabama.
Rev. Alton Parris and Rev. Tom Moye will officiate.
Burial will be in the Hulletts Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Thornburg will lie-in-state at the Church from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Thursday.
