The Reporter – March 11, 1911 Deaths Franz Monka was buried here last Saturday from the Sacred Heart Church. The decedent was one of the earliest settlers in this part of the county, until about 8 months ago he owned a farm in the town of Two Rivers. The past months he has lived in the city. Mr. Monka reached the ripe old age of three score years and ten. The funeral was attended by a very large number of his friends and relatives. Two societies, one from St. Luke’s and the other from the Sacred Heart church accompanied the body to the place of interment. One by one the old settlers are rapidly moving across the “River of Time”
