Mrs. August Meyer, nee Wilhelmina Kircher, died at the home of her son, Anton Meyer, in the town of Herman, Sheboygan County, at noon Monday. She had been living with him since 1941. She was born Aug. 18, 1858, in the town of Schleswig. On June 10, 1878, she married August Meyer, who died in 1895, in Kiel.
She is survived by eight children, Henry Meyer of Rhine, Anton Meyer of Herman, William Meyer, August Meyer, Louis Meyer and Herman Meyer of Sheboygan, Fred Meyer and Mrs. Erwin Ahrens of Milwaukee. There are 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Andrew Herzog, and one brother, Herman Kircher, both of Milwaukee.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at the Meiselwitz funeral home, Kiel. She will be buried in the Kiel cemetery. Rev. Clarence Schmidt, pastor of the Emanuel Evangelical and Reformed church, Herman, will conduct the services.
