She was born on May 11, 1916 to Camden R. and Bethel (Norman) Robinson. She was a 1934 graduate of Martinsville High School and attended Indiana Business College. She married William H. Hicks on Sept. 29, 1934.
Marguerite was a clerk at Davee Appliance Store in Martinsville for 25 years; she retired in 1981. She was a 50-year member of the Martha Chapter O.E.S., life member of the Xi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Sigma in Morgantown and a member of the Friendly Neighbors Homemaker Club. She attended Bean Blossom Mennonite Church.
Survivors include a sister, Pauline Baker of Indianapolis; two nephews, William "Bill" Robinson of Martinsville, and Daniel "Dan" Robinson of Mooresville; and a niece, Jacqueline "Jacque" Moore of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother and a brother, Ralph Robinson.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Costin Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Mahalasville Cemetery in Martinsvillle.
