The Rev. Jesse Parnell 69 of Arkoma died Monday Nov 7, 1994 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a minister and member of the Assembly of God. An Army Veteran of WWll and a retired plumber. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Nov 10 in harvest Hill Assembly of God with burial at New Hope cemetery of Spiro under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae; three daughters, Patricia Diggers of Arkoms and Wanda Thompson and Ferrell Knox, both of Tulsa; three sons, the Rev. Charles Parnell of Springdale, Carl Parnell of fort Smith and Gary Parnell of Arkoma; three sisters, Marie Farrar of fort Smith, Lottie Bailey of Sulphur Okla, and Inna Barnes of Poplar Bluff, mo, brother, Lee Parnell of fort Smith: 10 grandchildren and seven great a grandchildren.
