Louise Roberts Haun, formerly of Greeneville, died Wednesday at Outlook Pointe in Knoxville.

Mrs. Haun was born in Oak Ridge, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Roberts, and was the widow of Paul Haun.

She was a retired teacher, having taught in the Oak Ridge, Knox County, Greene County and Greeneville City schools.

Mrs. Haun was the head of the English Department at Greeneville High School for a number of years.

She was selected as Teacher of the Year for the Greeneville City Schools in 1973 and was twice named as an Outstanding Educator of America, once in 1973 and again in 1974.

Mrs. Haun was a member of Greeneville's First Baptist Church, the Carianna Sunday School Class, and the Young at Heart Group.

She was a former member of the Andrew Johnson Club, the American Association of University Women, Alpha Delta Kappa teachers' sorority, the Republican Women's Club and the Greeneville Education Association.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Kathryn and Neal Webster of Knoxville; a granddaughter and grandson-in-law: Julianne and Lee Edwards of Concord, N.C.; two great-grandsons: Chase Edwards and Chandler Edwards, both of Concord; and a brother, Warren Roberts of Columbus, Ohio.

A graveside service will be held at 1 o?clock this afternoon at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 871 Weisgarber Road, Knoxville, TN 37909.
