Friends may call at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary from 4-8 p.m. today, 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, and one hour before the service at the church.
Mr. Tindal was born March 24, 1913 in Taylorsville, Ky. to John and Thurse (Tindle) Tindal. He attended Austin schools. As a child he attended Sunday school and was baptized in the Baptist faith. He was united in marriage to Priscella Harley. To this union one child, Elizabeth, was born. Following the death of his first wife he was united in marriage to Elsie Mae (Wead) Cassedy. To this union two children were born, Wilson and Robert. He was employed at the Geo. A. Hormel & Co. for 38 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ where he served as a deacon.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Betty Tindal, Pine City, Minn., Ervin and Corrine Cassedy, Arlington, Texas, and Eugene and Pat Cassedy, Ennis, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Ted Woessner, Prior Lake, Minn.; special friend, Gertrude Stauffer, Austin; 20 grandchildren; 19 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and others. He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, one son, brothers and sisters.
Casket bearers will be Raymond Wigant, Glenn Lowe, Joseph Rhodes, Guy McAlister, LaVerne Hoffman, and Vernon Hoffman, Organist will be Mrs. Howard Hall and soloist will be Mrs. Merle Tuschoff.
