Louise Smith Ferguson, 65, of Alabama Hwy 53, Ardmore, AL, died Friday, October 17, 2003, at Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville, AL.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 19, at 2:00 p.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Clark and Rev. Gil Williams officiating. Burial was in the Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, AL with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Louise was born April 25, 1938 in Taft, TN to A. C. Smith and Maudie Ellis Smith. She was a member of Mable Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Ferguson was a housewife, secretary and part owner of Ferguson's LP Gas. She had been married to her husband, Kenneth Ferguson for just over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Ferguson of Ardmore, AL, two sons, Dickie Ferguson and Mike Ferguson both of Ardmore, AL; one daughter Dana Prater of Prospect, TN; three sisters, Pauline Hemphill, Annie Laura Marlow and Virginia Berryhill all of Ardmore, AL; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
