Mrs. Whitmire had been a a member of the Baptist church since the age of 13.
Survived by her husband; six children, one preceded her in death.
Mrs. Whitmire formerly made her home in Elbert.
Services were held at Elbert Baptist church officiated by Rev. W. Copland.
