They were the parents of four children that I am aware of; George (1846-1848), William French (1850-1911), Emma Florence (1853-1881) and James Elmer (1865-1942). There is some confusion as to the first name of J. Milton. The 1850, 1860 and 1870 census lists him as Joshua Inskeep. The 1860 census has his wife as Catharine. The headstone names him as James M. Inskeep. However, the children's names and ages shown on each of the census match those of this record.
