Charles Ackermann, 86 years old, died Friday at the home of his sister, Mrs. Christina Laux, 324 Soledad street, following a long illness. He is survived by his sister and several children residing in San Antonio. Mr. Ackermann was a native of Germany and had been a resident of this city during the last half of a century. The funeral was held this morning at 9:30 o'clock from the Waters Undertaking parlors on East Commerce street and interment was made in the Lutheran cemetery.
