Mrs. Sells was a lifelong resident of the community. She was a native of Biloxi and traveled extensively with her husband while he served in the military, including Japan and Iran.
She enjoyed her grandchildren, playing games and working puzzles. She was a member of Faith Christian Center in Ocean Springs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Sells Sr.; her parents, John Matthew and Gertrude Eve Trosclair Jalanivich; and two brothers, John M. Jalanivich Jr. and David Warren Jalanivich.
Survivors include two sons, Paul E. Sells Jr. of Crum Lynne, PA, and Johnny E. Sells of the Philippines; three sisters, Aline McGraw and Gertrude N. Medlock, both of Ocean Springs, and Alma Baker of Palatka, FL; two brothers, Wilbur "Bill" Emmanuel Jalanivich of Paradise, CA, and Dewey Preston Jalanivich of Mulberry, FL; four caregivers, Terry Waters, Jean Cooley, Sharon Casey and Amber Mangrum; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 3, 2000, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2000, at the funeral home chapel with burial in Southern Memorial Park.
