MRS. E. C. KIMSEY
Frances A. Bonneville was born in Ottawa, Ill., December 24th, 1842, and passed away at her home in Derby, Iowa, February 27, 1927, at the age of 84 years, 2 months and 3 days. She was the daughter of A. B. and Emily Bennett Bonneville.
She was married to E. C. Kimsey, February 5, 1863, in Peoria, Ill. Six children were born to this union. Of these, two sons, Arthur Kimsey, died April 11, 1872, and Wilson L. Kimsey, of Rock Springs, Wyoming, died Nov. 4, 1921.
The remaining four, Charley W. Kimsey, of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Ida Fusch, of San Jose, Calif., Mrs. Ellen Kepplinger, of Placerville, Calif., and Mrs. Amy Kyner, of Chariton, are left, with the husband, to mourn the loss of a dear companion and loving mother.
She also leaves 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, three half-brothers, Leander Bonneville, of Pontoosuc, Ill., Charles Bonneville, of West Point, Iowa, and Peter Bonneville and one half-sister, Mrs. Rebecca Field, of East St. Louis, Ill.
Mrs. Kimsey united with the Baptist church at Peoria, Ill., when but 15 years of age and later, with her husband, she united with the Presbyterian church of Derby, Iowa, and remained a faithful member until her death.
For a number of years she has been a shut-in, but was always a cheerful, patient sufferer, always interested in the church and what it was doing and she patiently awaited the call of the Master to the church triumphant.
Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church at 10 o'clock on Tuesday, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Harris, assisted by R. P. Decker, and interment was made in the Derby cemetery.
