BROOKSTON - Willie "Bill" Kerr, 75, died at 4 PM Tuesday, Jan. 25, 1994, in his Brookston home. He had been in failing health for several years. Born May 25, 1918, in Monroe County, KY, he had lived in Indiana since 1944. He married Allene Bailey on May 29, 1936, in Monroe County; she survives.
Mr. Kerr retired from farming in the Ash Grove area in 1978. He was a member of Brookston Church of Christ.
Surviving with his widow are a son, Richard Kerr of Dover, DE; four daughters, Shirley (Mrs. Russell) Ticen of Lafayette, Gleda (Mrs. Clifford) Williams of St. Cloud, FL, Carolyn "Sue" Williamson of Brookston, and Peggy (Mrs. William) Fassnacht of Brookston; and a sister, Ocia Pruitt of Fowler.
