She was born August 4, 1920 in Vermejo Park, New Mexico. She was a partner with her husband at Haynes Engine Service in Hobbs, N.M., where she worked as a bookkeeper and problem solver.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred & Mary Casias; her husband, Thurland Craig Haynes in 1991; two brothers; and four sisters.
She is survived by her son, Ken Haynes & wife, Nell of Odessa; daughter, TC Tracey Haynes of Albuquerque, N.M., & her life partner Jerri Hudson; grandson, Eric Haynes & wife Amy of Allen, TX; (2) great-grandsons, Mitchell & Colby Haynes. She will also be missed by her step-granddaughters, Xandra Turner and husband Rusty of Sugarland, TX & Sherri Rowe & husband Scott of Ruidoso, N.M.; step-great-grandsons, Taylor & Morgan Turner, & Justin, Kody & Jake Rowe.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 28, 2009 in Hobbs, N.M.
The family would like to express their thanks & appreciation to the staff at Lincoln Towers and Parks Methodist Retirement Village for their many years of devoted caring service.
