Huntsville -- Louis Matthews Shea (Father Baldwin) passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the Wasatch Care Center in Ogden.
He was born January 2, 1928 in Decatur, Illinois a son of Louis Shea and Teresa Genevieve Evans.
He grew up in Decatur and received his formal education there, then attended the Gethsemane Abbey in Kentucky and served his life as a Religious Brother as Father Baldwin at the Monastery of the Holy Trinity in Huntsville arriving here in the 1940's.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 2, 2010, 10:00 am at the Monastery of the Holy Trinity, 1250 So. 9500 East, Huntsville.
