He was born in McLean County, was a retired farmer, and was a member of Southside Church of Christ in Owensboro. Survivors include his wife, Eula Mae Shocklee; 4 sons, Samuel Shocklee of Hartford, Randall Shocklee of Utica, Charles & John Shocklee, both of Livermore; 3 daughters, Myrie Fortner and Pauline Wind, both of Owensboro and Mary E. Nave of Utica; 23 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Muster Funeral Home, Livermore. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Livermore. Visitation after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.
