Mrs. Mary Ann Keeling of St. Joe Dies
Mrs. Mary Ann Keeling, aged 79, of Route 1, St. Joe, died Thursday, March 19, at the Boone County Hospital. She was born February 21, 1891 at St. Joe, daughter of George and Martha Jane Shipman Davis, and was a lifelong resident of Searcy county. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Willie Keeling, two sons, Willard Keeling of Pindall; George Keeling of Yakima, Wash.; six daughters, Mrs. Walsie Baker, Mrs. Alma Trogdon and Mrs. Pearl Stills of St. Joe, Mrs. May Galleges of Laundale, Calif., Mrs. Bonnie Stills of Yakima, Wash.m Mrs. Flonnie Williams of Springfield, Mo.; six sisters, Mrs. Ida Moore of Granby, Mo., Mrs. Mattie Keeling and Mrs. Eva Reeves of St. Joe, Mrs. Donna Reaves of Harrison, Mrs. Virgie Bermel of Glendale, Calif., Mrs. Ethel Moore of Little Rock; 31 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren. One son, Billy Odell preceded her in death.
The funeral was Monday at 3:30 p.m. at the Pilot Mountian Primitive Baptist Church with burial in teh Osburn Cemetery by Holt Funeral Service. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
