He served in the UNITED STATES ARMY during WWI, where he was stationed at CAMP HOOD (FORT HOOD) and earned his PURPLE HEART in FRANCE during the war.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret Lianere Edwards Moore; his parents, Harless Moore and Emma Grumbles Moore; his brother, Harless Moore, Jr; and a daughter, Jeri.
Mr. Moore is survived by his daughter, Margaret Joyce; his brother, Mahlon; granddaughters; nieces; nephews and nine great-grandchildren.
