Kokomo Daily Tribune - Friday, July 10, 1903:
Mrs. Mary A. Scott, widow of the late Dr. James T. Scott, died at her late home in Greentown Tuesday evening. She had been a resident of Howard County since 1847. The funeral was held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the M.E. Church in Greentown. Two children--a son and a daughter--survive her.
