Miss Mabel Fisher of Greentown is circulating a petition to release Fred Fisher from the state prison on account of his failing health. So far, the young woman has had considerable success with the paper, and she will probably secure her brother's release. Fisher was charged with shooting a young man from Greentown on the grounds that the young man was paying undue attention to his sister, Mabel, the young woman now trying to effect his release. He got from two to fourteen years.
