Mrs. Alice Andrews, 60, wife of Ollie Andrews, died at her home near Hemlock, Sunday morning. Death was caused by paralysis from which she had suffered for the past three months. The final attack came suddenly and unexpectedly Saturday evening. Mrs. Andrews was a former resident of Greentown for many years. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Greentown, the Rebecca Lodge at Hemlock, and of the Eastern Star at Greentown. She was married to Ollie Andrews June 6, 1938.
Surviving with the husband are: Newton Brannen, a son by a former marriage, who lives on route 2, Greentown; six stepchildren, Mrs. Thomas Griffith, Marshall Andrews and Dallas Andrews, all of Kokomo, Pearl Andrews of Hemlock, Mrs. Oscar Clifton, route 6 Kokomo, and Mrs. Leslie Batey of Cromwell, Ind; three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Will Windsor of New Sante Fe, Mrs. Ora Hunsinger and Mrs. Homer Middlesworth, both living on route 2, Greentown, John Woodmansee of Pier, Ind., and Marvin Woodmansee of Marion. She leaves also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Methodist Church in Greentown Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
