Frances J. Bellamy nee Cooper, 85, of Dade City, Fla., passed away, surrounded by her family on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2009, She was born October 28, 1924, in Turkey Creek, Fla., the daughter of Johnny Cooper and Katie (Mansell) Cooper.
She retired from the Pasco County School District in the early 1980' s to work with her sons, the country music duo The Bellamy Brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer.
She is survived by her daughter, Ginger Clements; two sons, Homer Howard Jr. and David M. Bellamy; eight grandchildren, Terry, Jesse, Cheyenne, Noah, Emmy Lou, Cole, Dustin and Aaron; and three brothers, Ralph, Jimmy, and Al Cooper.
Private graveside services took place Saturday,
December 26, at Townsend House Cemetery.
