Rev. Lois Dolores Tenney Wilson, 79, of 59 Howland Ave. Adams, died Saturday, December 12, 2009 at her home.

She was born in North Adams, Mass., on Feb. 20, 1930, daughter of Leslie Tenney and Rev. Ethel Lombard Tenney. She attended Adams schools including the former Adams High School.
Lois was primarily a homemaker and a devoted wife and mother. She was a minister at Jesus Saves Tabernacle in North Adams. Lois also was a member of the Harbinger Singers who traveled extensively performing in many area churches. She enjoyed sewing and knitting.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Floyd R. Wilson, whom she married on June 2, 1950; three daughters; Lois Gronblom of Dover, N.H.; Lyn Wilson of Adams; and Robin Mulvaney of Schenectady, N.Y.; three sons, Robert Wilson of Lancaster, N.H., James Wilson of Eden, Vt., and Rev. Lawrence Wilson of Adams; 14 grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn Bellows, of Roy, Wash.; one brother, Leslie Tenney, of Derby, Conn.; nieces and nephews. A son, William Wilson, died January 21, 1991; and a brother, Lawrence Tenney, died in 1998.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Rev. Lois Wilson will be celebrated Saturday Dec. 19, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Jesus Saves Tabernacle in North Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams.
