Brenda Joyce Phelps, 69, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, in Tyler.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday in Lowe Funeral Home Chapel, Quitman, Robert Townley officiating. Burial: Concord Cemetery, Quitman. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Phelps was born Nov. 13, 1940, in Dallas. She had lived in Quitman since 1983, coming from Mansfield. She was a dietitian at East Texas Medical Center in Quitman.
She was preceded in death by her father, Grady Williams, and brother, Grady "Buster" Williams Jr.
Survivors: Husband, Bobby "Dale" Phelps of Quitman; sons, Jim Hubbard of Dallas, Keith Hubbard of Pennsylvania, Bill Hubbard of Tennessee, Larry Hubbard and Carol of Fort Worth, Don Hubbard and Sheila of Euless; daughter, Kim Phelps Holle and Arlen of Baytown; stepson, Mitchell Phelps and Willene; stepdaughters, Bobbie, Peggy, Angel and Elaine; mother, D.J. Moore of Dallas; stepmother, Annie Belle Williams of Nocona; brother, Mark Williams of Irving; sisters, Alta Graves and Rose Womack, both of Cedar Hill, Becky O'Neal of Nocona; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
