Mr. Morgan was born Oct. 19, 1874, in Cumberland County, a son of Charles D. and Lucinda Beals Morgan. He was a retired farmer.
He leaves three sons, Guy, Lockport; Dewey, Toledo; and Paul, Guthrie, Okla.; a daughter, Mrs. Florence Marker, of Guthrie; and several grandchildren.

RITES CONDUCTED FOR J.H. MORGAN
TRILLA, Ill. - Funeral services for James H. Morgan, 87, Trilla, were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church here with Rev. Ray Janes and Rev. Thomas Graham officiating. Burial was in Beals cemetery near Trilla with the Markwell-Lashmet funeral home, Toledo, in charge.
Mrs. Eilert Janssen and Mrs. Harry Nichols sang "Old Rugged Cross" and "It is No Secret," accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Lawrence Brady.
Pallbearers were nephews of the deceased, Roy Morgan, Quentin Morgan, Joyce Morgan, Charles Morgan, Richard Morgan and Charles Thompson.
Mr. Morgan died Tuesday at the Rennels Nursing Home, Charleston.
