Claude E. Misner, 5412 Copperstone, Climax, died Tuesday evening, March 17. He was born April 15, 1904, in Otisville, Mi, the son of Guy and Bertha (Cushman) Misner and was a lifelong resident of the Kalamazoo area. Before his retirement he was employed by the Kellogg Company and by Sinclair s Market in Climax. He was a former Rotarian and a life member of the Masonic Lodge #59 F & AM. On January 1, 1926, he married Evelyn Bigelow, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Richard E. Misner, of Augusta; one grandson, Terry Lee Misner of Battle Creek; three great-grandchildren, Morian, Brandi and Scottie; a half-sister, Mrs. Fern Wriege of Ludington; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services were held Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the Langland Climax Chapel. Interment was in Prairie Home Cemetery. The Argus March 25, 1981 page 7
