MYTON, Duchesne County - James William Paxman, 90, Myton, died Jan. 29, 1973, in a Roosevelt hospital of natural causes.
Born Dec. 17, 1882, Spanish Fork, to James and Mary Elizabeth Rishton Paxman. Married Nellie D. Shepard, 1902, Salt Lake City. She died 1950. Former rancher; member Odd Fellow Lodge.
Survivors: sons, daughters, Merrell J., Russell F., Mrs. Tessie Thompson, all Myton; Beth Felter, Roosevelt; Brothers, sisters, Frank, Mrs. Ethel Livingston, both Salt Lake City; Mrs. Blanche Carlton, Montpelier, Idaho; Mrs. Edith Rosander, Pasadena, Calif.
Funeral Thursday, noon, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Roosevelt. Friends call Olpin Mortuary, Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday before services. Burial, Myton Cemetery.
