Ralph was a local citrus grower and grove manager, and was a deacon in First Baptist Church of Weirsdale. He was an outstanding Christian husband, father and gentleman. Ralph wore Stetson hat size 6 and 7/8. He was highly respected in his community and within his family. He was a loyal friend and a red-blooded American. Thanks, Daddy, for helping make your sons who they became as Christian men, with the help of God and Mama. I love you Daddy.
I am fortunate to have a voice recording of Ralph praying the blessing before the meal at his mother Ida's 90th birthday lunch celebration at Lassie's Restaurant in Belleview.
