WORTH, Texas — Dorsie Marie Lambert, 85, passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2009 in Ft Worth.Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, at the Church of Nazarene, with the Rev. Daryl Brown officiating.Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.Dorsie was born Thursday, Sept. 18, 1924 in Alex, to Joseph W. McElfresh and Donnie E. Hamilton McElfresh.She graduated from Chandler High School and then attended Bethany Nazarene College. Dorsie married Terry K. Lambert on Dec. 25, 1948 in Bethany.She taught Sunday school and was a member of the Church of Nazarene in Brownwood, Texas. Survivors include: son, Mark Allen Lambert and wife, Melody of Ft. Worth, two daughters: Shirley Murray and husband, Rick of Springtown, Texas and LaDonna Meyers and husband, Marty of Ft. Worth; three brothers: Herman McElfresh, Harry McElfresh and Emerson McElfresh. She was preceded in death by her parents.
