WEST HARTFORD – Idamae A. Facteau, 94, died June 14 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.

She was born March 28, 1906, in Stowe, daughter of Elmer and Minnie (Graham) Peck.

She attended Lyndon Institute in Lyndon.

She married Lawrence G. Facteau on Sept. 20, 1923, in Glover. They lived in Nashua, N.H., for a short time before moving to Windsor in 1936. They later moved to Hartland, where she was the manager of the First National Supermarket and then to Wilder, where she worked for several years for the hot lunch program at Wilder Elementary School.

Mrs. Facteau was a member of the Hartland Grange for more than 30 years, a member of the National Grange, Vermont Chapter, Christian Street Home Demo. Club and the Hartland World War Mothers. She was a former member of the Federated Church of Wilder.

Survivors include a son, Rodney C. Facteau of Lyndon Center; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen Orr of Meriden, N.H.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband in 1977; two sons, Wayne Facteau and Wendell Facteau; a daughter, Patricia Fogg; and a granddaughter.

Burial in West Hartford Cemetery in West Hartford.
